Neurologic Consultation
Looking to clarify a diagnosis or understand your symptoms?
We’ll review your symptoms, exam and any prior testing or evaluation to formulate an assessment and make recommendations for further testing and/or treatment. The nervous system is too complex to view in isolation so we will always aim to understand your diagnosis from a whole body, whole systems functional approach.
With over 25 years of working within the Rochester medical community I have developed an extensive network of medical colleagues I trust and can facilitate referral if ongoing specialist or neurology care is indicated.

Second Opinion
Feeling stuck and seeking new diagnostic or treatment options?
We’ll review your symptoms, their impact on daily life, and what you’ve tried before, including benefits and side effects. In addition to medication options, recommendations often include targeted lifestyle strategies such as exercise, sleep optimization, nutrition, environmental considerations, and mind-body practices.
You’ll receive a personalized plan for ongoing care, designed to integrate with your existing neurologist, specialists, or primary care provider.

Integrative Neurology
Wondering if there’s more than just prescription medications that can help?
It’s hard to know what “alternative therapies” are helpful, harmful or a waste of time and resources. Although Healthspan Neurology is grounded in a medical science model, curiosity has led to my training in integrative, functional, and lifestyle medicine, mind-body practices, medical acupuncture and the judicious use of supplements.
This allows me first-hand insight about how these modalities work and when they may be appropriate complementary, or even primary, treatments for patients. I have also developed a network of colleagues I trust and can facilitate referral to.
